is most interesting, marvel
& 5000 years old historical subject in world. Astrology tells, All human
beings are distinctive ones. Our experience of Mind Science, Psychology,
Buddhism and New Technology, the Astrology can be describe as follows.
It is pure mathematical science that our many of previous life's energy is
measure by considering the planets and their motions. Also this past energy
give positive powers to birth as human. Astrology define how our energy body
affect with our own mind and what positive powers you collected in your past
lives which help to current life. Also all planets & space objects
influence to human body according to Physics under gravity. We get phlegm,
cold, tonsillitis & fever in fullmoon days while heavy sunny days we have
problems with urine system. Such way all planets help to link with our body
& mind. In Sinhala traditional word for Astrology is "Jotishayaya",
which means Jothi- means light so whole word means "science of
light". In other word, it tells we want use Astrology for success our works as
use light for going on the dark roads. Cause we don't know about our future,
so Astrology is one of subject that tells about our future. Astroloy was
found by Indian & Lankan rishi monks who had devine-eye. Also these monks
sometimes talk with gods and found about how universe effect to us. So this
is science of mind power.
So
mainly Astrology can be described as it is spiritual,
psychological, pure & physical science which tells our strengths &
weaknesses according to our past kamma forces and radiations of objects in
space. Astrology in Sri Lanka uses Birth Time,
Birth Date & Birth Place (Country with town) for calculate our birth
chart from advanced math's formulae. Birth time is normally consider as first
breathing time or first crying time of new born baby. Astrology very with countries,
cultures, religions and customs. But root concepts are same in eveywhere. Sri Lankan Astrology used Indian Vedic
Astrology with modifications from Lord Buddha's teachings. So as Buddhists,
we believe that
lot of influences of birth chart means negative kamma & radiations, can be overcome from mind power. |

person's life & character. So combinations of planets help to
determine in born skills , educational capabilities, sicknesses, etc. Sri

Science , because lot of people break down their life cause of

Sri
Lankan people use mainly two birth charts which are called Lagna &
Nawansaka. Apart from these two there have other four birth charts
which helps to more narrow readings. All 6 birth charts called as six groups
or Sodasha Vargha. Astrologers use nine planets and their motions to
verify our fature. Normally one person have own, one lagna and one Nawansaka.
Therefore we can determine 12 kinds of characters according to Astrology. Lagna
is Basic Zodiac Sign & Nawansaka is use to
determine angle of planets in places, know Nakath power, to verify
relationship between planet's & Nakath. However important chart is Lagna.
Also it called as Horoscope. So Lagna (also other five charts) are
again devided into 12 places. Below picture have sample Sinhala birth
chart.
These 12 places called as Bhava
Places or house. All Places also have their own area about our life
& effects to our body parts. Also all bhava places have zodiac signs
which are started from Lagna. Places are count as anti-clock wise such as
below. So planets are situated in these bhava places.
Also planets can show
or influence from their sitting place to other places such as Sun sit on 1st
in sample horoscope but influences to 3rd, 7th & 10th. So this is called Graha
Dushti or Planet Showings. Normally
we need to understand it as sun sit 3rd,7th & 10th places too. Formula is
(Mars & Mercury shows 4, 7, 8; Jupiter & Venus shows 5, 7, 9; Sun,
Saturn & Moon shows 3, 7, 10. Only main planets have enough power for
showing, so other planet's showings no need to care for birth chart
readings.)
Planet
Combination or Graha Yoga, means how one particular planet
stay on birth chart with other planets & all 12 bhava places. And
what kind of planet showings they got.
Planets
are not stay steady way as in our birth chart. They transit in one place to
another in universal chart or in sky. So Astrologers considers where is in
planet really in now. It is like if your birth chart mars in seventh, but in
universal birth chart it is going on tenth. This is called Planet
Transit or Graha Chara in Sinhala. We can know where is
planets in current or particular time's universe chart by referring Almanacs
Of Five Factors or Panchanga Litha.

Concepts About Planets. |
As told in, some planets rule with some zodiac sign while others are friends. But some
planets are negative with some zodiac signs. As well as some planets are not either
rule, friend or even negative. They are called null planets to related zodiac
sign. (However for determine about planet states we need other complex
calculations such as Nakath power, Sodasha Varga power, Bhava Places power,
